Last Tuesday we held an open audition to add some members to our troupe. We assumed to see 10-13 people. 31 arrived and they all put on their “A” game. Almost every person was early or on time, focused and professional. We had the cast on call to play in scenes with the candidates, but there were so many of them. I had mentioned we were hoping to get out by 9:30 or 10pm. We got out at 11:45pm. They were all patient and understanding.
After lots of discussion and debate, we were able to accept 14 new Sick Puppies. 12 new cast members and 2 new technical directors. Join us in welcoming them to the cast by sharing this article or finding them on Facebook and sending them a message. Here they are!

The cast will be working feverishly to get everyone up to speed so you can see them on stage as soon as possible. In the meantime, subscribe to our mailing list, follow us on Facebook and Twitter and come see our Valentine’s Day show February 14th or see us in Miami on Friday. Lot’s to see.
On a more personal note, I have a relationship with the majority of new Sick Puppies we added. They are unbelievable people with a strong work ethic, hunger to learn and incredible sense of humor. When we started this company, I never expected our cast to be 28 members strong or have a demand for near that many. I am surrounded by the best people in the business, in the best business in the world.
We are so proud to have these new members. More big announcements on the way!
